Description

The Whelen Control Head for Arges is designed with a paddle and three push-buttons, offering an intuitive interface for ease of use. Its compact size provides flexible mounting options, making it a versatile solution for controlling multiple lights with a single controller.

The paddle allows for both rotation and tilt of the Arges light, maintaining a 1:1 relationship with the lighthead for precise and full control. This feature ensures the light’s position is accurately adjusted according to the operator’s needs.

The Home button is designed to return the Arges to its default position. When the unit is not in use, this position is aerodynamic and unobtrusive, keeping the setup streamlined. Additionally, double-tapping the Home button activates auto-sync, which automatically adjusts the controller to the correct position.

An indicator light on the paddle provides visual feedback to the operator. It will illuminate red when the control head is in use, indicating the paddle is in control mode. When the control head is idle, the indicator light turns blue, signaling that Arges is in manual override mode. In this mode, the spotlight can be manually adjusted from outside the vehicle, offering greater flexibility.
